Brody Monahan is ready to take on the third round of the CARS Pro Late Model Tour this Saturday, April 25th, at Caraway Speedway. After a strong performance two weeks ago at Nashville, where he finished sixth, Monahan sits fourth in the points standings.
Caraway Speedway: A Track That Demands Focus
Caraway Speedway, located in Sophia, North Carolina, is known for its tight turns and fast straightaways. For Monahan, this track presents an opportunity to build on his recent momentum and climb higher in the standings.
The track recently received a repave in turns 3 and 4 which will present a new challenge for Brody and all the drivers to adapt to. Monahan Motorsports has shown strong preparation in past events where they are fast right off the trailer, so this could give Brody an advantage as he works around the new enhancements to the speedway and finds the fastest way around.
Monahan’s Recent Performance and Current Standings
Coming off a sixth-place finish at Nashville, Monahan has demonstrated consistency and competitiveness in the biggest field of Pro Late Models that the CARS Tour has seen in some time. That result helped him move up to fourth place in the overall points, keeping him in contention for the championship as the season progresses.
His performance at Nashville showed his ability to manage race pace and avoid costly mistakes. Maintaining this level of performance at Caraway Speedway will be key to moving up the leaderboard.
Qualifying and Race Day Schedule
Saturday’s schedule consists of two practices, qualifying, and the 100 lap race. Qualifying kicks off at 4:40pm ET, where Brody will shoot for another podium starting spot like he had at Nashville. The feature event starts at 7:30pm ET.
